A hand tied 6 ft (1.8 m), leader of ultra hard, tough saltwater nylon, tapering from a twisted double strand of lb. butt material and finishing with a 4 inch section of shock tippet.

A Bimini knot in the end of the lb class tippet ensures the ultimate in protection, and a perfection loop in the twisted butt end makes it very easy to rig and attach to the fly line or your butt section.
