Rio Tarpon/Billfish Hand Tied Leaders
A hand tied 6 ft (1.8 m), leader of ultra hard, tough saltwater nylon, tapering from a twisted double strand of lb. butt material and finishing with a 4 inch section of shock tippet.

A Bimini knot in the end of the lb class tippet ensures the ultimate in protection, and a perfection loop in the twisted butt end makes it very easy to rig and attach to the fly line or your butt section.

Available in a 3-pack, with pre-straightened shock tippets. Hard nylon Shock Tippet; 60 lb ( 27.3 kg) 80 lb ( 6.4 kg).

7.5 ft (2.3 m), .027 in (0.737 mm) butts with an ultra stiff 15 lb tippet for casting big flies. For pike, bluefish, barracuda and similar species. Each tapered leader has a shock tippet of nylon-coated stainless steel wire with a small stainless steel snap to change flies easily.
