Bäkkäri Fly Line Backing is a new extensive range of line backing. Available as 20lb and 30 lbs breaking strain, Bakkari backing comes in 50m, 100m, 150m and 250m spools, depending upon test strength.

Bakkari is extra thin and highly visible, and tends not to cut into itself even when put under heavy stress during a fight with a big fish. If you don't find a proper backing for your particular needs (heavy saltwater fly fishing excluded) we are very surprised.

Generally recognised as the best backing line on the market Cortland Micron is specially treated to be rot-proof and water resistant so that it does not absorb water when wet. Pressure treated dyeing ensures that the material is colourfast.
