A.Jensen Dry Fly, Light Line and Nymph Reel

The A. Jensen Dry Fly Reel is made specifically for the dedicated Light line fly fisherman.

The reel is CNC cut from High Grade 6061 Aircraft Aluminium. The sheer strength of this pretty expensive material ensures high stability, which is one of the most important issues, especially when you at the same time make a light reel.

The full frame design ensures that the base of the reel is as stable and strong as possible and at the same time it prevents the line to “jump” of the spool and get tangled around the main shaft. The little extra weight the full frame design gives is well compensated by the much better functionality when fishing. I think we all know of people that has lost fish (strangely most often big ones ??) due to a line that tangled around the main shaft of an open frame reel.

The reel is in ultra large arbor design with it 95 mm diameter. That ensures soft startup when a fish rush, of course well supported by the delicate carbon disc brake system. It also comes in very handy when retrieving line.

FEATURES
• Precision CNC cut from High Grade 6061 Aircraft Aluminium
• Ultra large arbor
• Easy adjustable disc brake
• Easy to change from right hand to left hand retrieve
• Full Frame house design for perfect line control + extra strength and stability
• “Steep angle” handle

Snowbee Onyx Fly Reels

Onyx Fly Reels
A new dimension in fly reel design and technology.
The main reel frame and spool are made from lightweight, durable die-cast aluminium and finished on a precision CNC machine, so you get the best of both worlds - the finish, feel and precision of a CNC machined reel, but at a die-cast price. The large arbor design gives faster line retrieve, more consistent drag performance and minimal line memory. Add to this a multi-disc, centre drag system and you have a fly reel which performs way above its expectations at this price level. The cork and stainless steel drag discs provide a smooth, powerful drag performance, with minimal start-up inertia to avoid those 'smash-takes'.

In a range of sizes from the #3/4 model for the smallest brook rod, to a powerful #9/11 salmon model.
The #5/7 and #7/9 models come with an easy-change cassette spool system.

The popular Onyx Large Arbor fly reels are now also available in a Gunmetal Silver colour in the standard Cassette Spool models and kits, PLUS in the new traditional spool version of the #3/4 and #5/7 models.
