Competition Rules

Eligibility

Open to all persons over the age of 16. (Persons under the age of 16 must have parental consent) with the following exclusions.

Exclusions

Fly Fishing Tackle Co UK members of staff and their immediate family.

Persons whose main occupation is photography.

Persons contracted to Getty Images or other stock photography organisations which control or own their image copyrights.

Images previously entered in professional competitions.

Subject Matter

The subject matter of the photographs should be fishing related, and relevant to the current competition theme. Themes may vary with each particular competition.

Content should be not be lewd, pornographic or considered by the judges to be offensive or likely to incite racial or minority group intolerance.

Submissions

Competition entries may only be made using the official submission form to be found at https://www.fly-fishing-tackle.co.uk/photo-club.php

Only the following image file formats are acceptable: jpg, jpeg, gif, png. Maximum size 3 Mbytes.

Acceptance of Competition Rules and Privacy Policy

All entrant must agree to accept the Competition Rules and Privacy Policy.

Closing Date

A Closing Date for each competition will be displayed on the competition submission form.

Judging

Photographs in each competition will be assessed by our expert panel of judges.

Their decision is final.

Winners will be notified by email - please ensure our domain fly-fishing-tackle.co.uk is white listed in your email account.

Notification of Winners and Display of Images

Winners will be notified by email within one week of the closing date of the competition. We will also send Tackle Voucher prizes by email - Please ensure our domain fly-fishing-tackle.co.uk is white listed in your email account.

Successful entries and other acceptable images will be uploaded and displayed in albums on our Facebook Pages and may also be used to promote further competitions.

Winners will be listed on our Facebook Page ( Name and Town only). No personal details will be disclosed.

We reserve the right to edit descriptions and captions, and to use images on our websites.

Inclusion in our online albums is at the discretion of the Fly Fishing Tackle Co UK

Permissions

Entrants must agree for Fly Fishing tackle Co UK to show showcase the submitted images on their websites.
