Armoured Tuf-Leader is manufactured from a continuous Spectra® fibre core with a fine braided stainless steel outer sheath. Tuf-Leader is softer, thinner and stronger than conventional wire leaders with no memory, which gives a more natural action to the fly or lure. This added flexibility means Tuf-Leader can be knotted, doing away with bulky crimps and if the leader is kinked, it can be easily straightened by pulling through the fingers, as you would a mono leader. Available in 5kg, 8kg, 12kg, 25kg and 45kg breaking strains on 5m spools.
