The one-piece moulded foam base ensures they remain waterproof, even if sitting in water. The material has a thick PVC laminated backing to repel water and there is an overall cover flap to deflect the worst of the weather. If the heavens open, there is a rear pocket, housing a pull-out nylon all-over rain cover to ensure your gear remains 100% dry.
