This reel is the perfect tool for anyone looking for an easyto-use baitcaster for close range casting distances of less than 20 meter. It offers increased control over casts and flips over short distances. Rather than stopping the spool with your thumb after completing a cast, you can stop the spool from spinning simply by flipping the clutch bar back to the "lock" position. This is what Shimano calls Instage which is easier in use compared to a standard casting reel. In the proper hands this can be a lethal flipping machine!
