John Wilson’s Avon Quiver rod is probably the best selling rod of all time. For 2010 production has been moved to Jarvis Walker’s factories giving improved quality levels, improved specifications and greatly improved prices.

The Avon Quiver format features a 1.25lb Avon Top as well as a quiver top with three push in tips (1.5, 2 & 2.5oz) ideal for targeting anything from carp and tench to chub, roach and dace. For those seeking to fish at a distance or have extra control over larger fish in faster running water there is now a 2’ extension piece enabling the rod to be fished at both 11’ and 13’. Also available is the Barbel Quiver built to the same format but uprated with a 1.75lb Avon Top and beefier (2, 2.75 & 3oz) push in tips.

Three 7ft one-piece carbon boat rods built on 12lb and 20lb blanks. With their responsive, all through actions, delicate tips and lightweight construction, these rods are a joy to use and play fish on and can be constantly held over lengthy sessions for greatly enhanced bite detection. The rods are fitted with nine in-line braid guides, a full EVA handle and tough screw-winch fitting.
