| The perfect combination of Japanese design with Snowbee technology to bring you a new range of Lure spinning rods and reels at the cutting edge of modern lure fishing design.|
Kuroshio, is the Japanese name for Black Tide, the name given to the spring current which starts off the east coast of Taiwan and flows up past the coast of Japan and on into the Pacific. This current brings the first run of spring bait-fish, hotly pursued by larger predatory fish, so is eagerly awaited by Japanese lure anglers. It therefore seemed an appropriate name for Snowbee's new range, which incorporates the latest thinking in Japanese design.
All models come complete with a quality rod bag & Cordura tube for protection.
Snowbee having tried this new system for themselves, by taking the Microwave Challenge, where you put a conventionally rigged rod up against an identical rod rigged with the new Microwave Guides, were convinced this was the future of Spinning Rod design and incorporated it into their new Kuroshio range.
The two LRF models feature Snowbee's well proven, solid carbon tips, for the ultimate flexibility and sensitivity when fishing light. Ideal for micro soft lure fishing, but with enough backbone when a powerful wrasse snatches your lure and heads for the kelp!
The other five models in the range offer a size and weight for all styles of lure fishing, whether spinning, fishing plugs or soft baits.
All models feature high-tech, 4-pce blanks, making transporting rods so much easier, but sacrificing none of the action, through innovative use of different grades of carbon throughout the blank. The handle and reel-seat configuration, uses the latest Japanese design and the entire rod is finished in black with gold trim. Lightweight, stainless steel Microwave Guides, with a Black Chrome finish, to complement the blanks.
