Tube Fly Attachments

The Integral Tube-fly Attachment simply replaces the standard vice head, converting the vice to a precision Tube Fly model. The central tube pin locks in place by means of a small screw and compression is then applied to the tube by means of the reverse threaded ‘Cone’ head and locking collar. The cone head features a fine parallel tip, which allows the tube to be held in position with the silicone sleeve already in place, making it the perfect choice for professional tube-fly dressers. A Universal version of the Tube Fly Attachment is also available, which can be clamped into any conventional vice jaw. Both Tube Fly Attachments come with two different pin sizes to cater for different sized tubes.

Tube Fly Holder - Vice Adaptor

Although only a simple piece of kit, this little adapter will make the job of tying tubes much less stressful. Fits into the jaws of a standard tying vice. The tapered collet allows good access to the tube unlike some other adapters on the market.

Much more stable way to make tube flies than the classic darning needle approach. Comes with three different ’needles’ to accomodate large and small bore tubes. Mount the tube onto the needle and press into the collet and tighten the screw.

After machining, all jaws receive heat treatment to form 0.3mm layer of extra hard surface. Jaw and all peripheral parts receive pearl chrome plating.
